RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS
Originally from Southern California, Senior Project Architect Brent Mather fell in love with Indianapolis while traveling for work in 1993. He attended the University of Illinois: Champaign Urbana in Architectural Design, and completed a thesis focusing on Inner-City Renewal through Urban Planning, Historic Preservation, and the careful addition of Contemporary Architecture.  Before joining Brenner Design in 2006, Mr. Mather completed design work with regionally renowned Indianapolis architects Evans Woollen and Jonathan Hess on their projects for the Indianapolis Central Library and Indianapolis Museum of Art. Additionally, he has served as design consultant to numerous Urban Residential / Commercial / Mixed-use projects for Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects (2001-2003) and DOMAIN Architecture (2003 – 2005), including the Indianapolis Athletic Club Condos, penthouses as the Indianapolis Conrad Tower, and urban renewal along Indianapolis’ Martin Luther King Corridor. In 2004, Mr. Mather served as architectural coordinator for the City of Indianapolis’ Urban Façade Grant Program, and currently volunteers his time and professional services with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, American Institute of Architecture – Indianapolis Chapter, Habitat for Humanity, and the Tenth Street Urban Corridor. Participation in Indianapolis Civic Organizations and our growing Arts Community are particularly near Brent’s heart; he has participated with the Symphony Orchestra, Dance Kaleidoscope (executive board member), and numerous local art galleries.
